Back by popular demand, this small group peer group takes a lighthearted approach to teaching some serious academic, organizational, and real-world skills. Funny clips from the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid prompt lively, hands-on activities and discussion, all geared toward boosting your child’s organization, leveraging technology to enhance productivity, and sharing some common- sense problem solving skills for adolescence.
Students will learn about and/or use a wide variety of tools and techniques to:

Additionally, participants will explore a host of entertaining, real-world insights regarding:
- Executive Function Skills: a straight talk, nuts-and-bolts approach to understanding these skills, how they affect us all, and some proven tips for making improvements in school and life
- Sean Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens
- Mindsets: Reducing ANTS (automatic negative thoughts) and fostering a growth mindset
- The pitfalls associated with social media posts and having a digital tattoo
- Digital devices: impact on attention and options to manage digital distractions.

- Parents schedule a Google Meet call with Dan and see if Diary of a More Organized Kid is a good fit for your child.
- If yes, schedule a brief meet and greet so we can all say hello in person, you and your child can see the office.
