Who is a good fit?
This coaching relationship is designed for new parents of kids from roughly ages 5 through age 11
  • Married couples 
  • Single parents or guardians
  • Divorced or separated parents -how to support learning and organization in separate homes
  • Working parents who want to make the most of their time.

  • When choosing the right educational support, parents have a wide range of choices and considerations. Dan Leibowitz's approach and experience offer a number of benefits that distinguish Innovative Learning Services from other options: ​​
  • Experience: Dan Leibowitz is a credentialed teacher with Master's Degrees in both general and special education, and a Certificate in Educational Therapy. Dan has over 20 years of experience teaching and coaching students ages 8 through 20-somethings in both public and private schools, with a wide range of learning profiles, including LDs and ADD.  
  • Fatherhood: Dan is a father of 2 boys, ages 10 and 12 and has been their primary caregiver.  He brings a wealth of practical and education-related experience to his work with parents.  
  • Dan gets independent schools: Dan has 15 years of combined experience directing and working in the Learning Services Departments of S.F. independent schools -Drew School, Jewish Community High School, and Town School.   
  • Public school experience: Dan taught for two years in the Weston, CT public schools before moving to CA in 1997.
  • The executive function through line: Dan combines an in-depth knowledge of these cognitive skills, a deep understanding of how they impact school and home life, and expertise in tools and strategies that foster efficiency and confidence.  
  • Technology: As an assistive technology specialist, Dan matches students with technology tools and features that transform how they approach academic and organizational tasks. Whether it's Notability, Google Tools, Inspiration Software, Chrome, or iOS features, he understands the landscape and can help identify the right tools for your child's learning style.












How does this coaching relationship work? 
  • ​To begin the relationship clients will receive an intake discovery form that clarifies what to expect from coaching, where they are, goals, obstacles, and strengths
  • ​​ coaching agreement : intake + 4 session arrangement happens in 2 month time frame ​
