Smart Tools for Organizational Success For students entering grades 9-11
New for 2017, this practical, timely summer course teaches a range of efficient study strategies and technology-driven techniques that prepare students to meet the organizational demands of high school -with greater skill and confidence. Material from Dan's presentations on executive function skills, coupled with funny, informative TED Talks and YouTube videos prompt lively discussion, training and guided practice using tools and apps, all geared towards helping students improve how they:
Plan and organize information for writing, study guides and research
Take notes from lectures and and online sources
Manage time, tasks, and documents
Take advantage of specific apps and helpful, time-saving iOS and iPad features
Identify goals for the new school year and make a plan for success.
